Uruguay coach Oscar Washington Tabarez has named his 23 overseas based players to face Costa Rica in a World Cup playoff next month. There have been few surprises as Tabarez has selected a squad almost identical to the one that took on Ecuador and Argentina.
The following players will miss the first match due to suspension: Martin Caceres, Andres Scotti, Maximiliano Pereira and Diego Perez.
Tabarez will complete his squad with players from the local Uruguayan league on Nov.6.
The first leg of the playoff will be staged at the Ricardo Saprissa stadium on Nov.14, while the return leg will be played at the Centenario stadium four days later.

Goalkeepers: Juan Castillo (Botafogo) and Fernando Muslera (Lazio)
