River Plate star Diego Buonanotte is in a serious state after suffering a severe car accident on his way back home from a nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning. It was confirmed that the three friends the striker was travelling with died on their way to the hospital after the incident.
According to reports the vehicle collided with a tree, during the rainy conditions, and Buonanotte´s friends couldn´t withstand the impact.
Buonanotte is in a serious state, after entering the emergency room with a broken humerus, collar bone as well as a pulmonary contusion.
“I simply lost control of the car and hit a tree”, Buonanotte, the conductor of the vehicle, told reporters.
The 21-year-old was driving a Peugeot 307, and lost control due to the effects of torrential rainfall.
Buonanotte is one of the brightest prospects in Argentine football, and only this week rejected a number of offers from foreign clubs to remain loyal to River Plate.

We all love you little munchkin. I am so sorry about your friends but you must get better and move forward. I don´t understand why such a little tender man would drive a Peugeot 307? Those cars are too fragile for little Diegito, he should be driving one of those big dodge cars that could fall of a cliff and do no damage.
